This is considered a major amendment, which means a public hearing is required.The presentation on the proposed amendment will be included as part of the annual public hearing on the region’s Transportation Improvement Program.MetroPlan Orlando requests an amendment to the 2040 Plan to include six projects either previously identified as needs through the Long Range Transportation Plan or recently identified as needs by local government partners. Also included with the amendment is MetroPlan Orlando’s response to new requirements outlined in federal legislation to include project costs in Year of Expenditure (YOE) for each phase of a project in the plan.In addition to making comments at the public hearing and board meeting, residents may submit written comments on the amendment to MetroPlan Orlando, 250 S.
